The Slow Simmer Update: Behind the Scenes, Moving with Care

The first quarter of this year has very much been designed as a slow simmer—lots of behind-the-scenes changes so that when the second quarter arrives, we’re not scrambling. We’re synced. Grounded. Ready.

I don’t want that to feel like I’m disappearing on you—in fact, quite the opposite.

I want to keep you in the loop as things shift, especially because these changes are ultimately about making our shared work more accessible, more spacious, and more sustainable, even if it’s not quite happening yet.

Here’s what’s been unfolding as 2026 gets underway:

A New Learning Portal (and More Support Inside It)

We’re in the final stages of building out a new learning portal. If you’ve purchased courses in the past with lifetime access, you should have received emails inviting you into the new platform. Please open them—they’re safe, and they’ll walk you right through getting set up.

A few things to know:

The old learning portal will remain active through the end of the summer, in the form you are used to, so there’s no rush.

The new portal is still being reviewed and refined, so you may notice imperfections in January. We’re actively smoothing those out. This is why there is overlap in your access to the two systems!

This new space will ultimately hold more classes than the old portal ever did. I’m gathering recordings from previous groups and revisiting and polishing older content and presentations so they can live here in a more usable, supportive way.

What this means for you: on-demand, reasonably priced access to material that can meet you where you are, when you need it. So while I will be doing more in-person work this year, the asynchronous and online offerings will still be available–no pressure, no chasing live schedules–just steady support.

Email Transitions (Thank You for Your Help)

We’ve begun moving our first bath of folks from our old email system to a new one, and the response rate so far has been heartening. Truly—thank you.

Opening emails and responding when prompted helps ensure these messages land in your inbox rather than disappearing into spam folders. That small action supports all of us staying connected, and I’m deeply grateful for the care you’ve shown during this transition.

There will be a second wave of transitions this week. Note: you will receive an email from the old system asking for your to look for the arrival of the newsletter from the new system. That way you can check spam folders, etc, to make sure it successfully lands in your inbox in the future!

Events: Quiet on Dates, Clear on Direction

You may notice that our “Coming Events” calendar looks a little sparse on specifics right now. That’s intentional.

This first quarter is a transition season, so while we’re continuing to list the offerings we plan to continue, we’re not assigning dates just yet. If something on that list calls to you for later this year, please message us so we can keep you on the interest list and reach out when timing becomes clear.

Yoga Therapy (A Pause, Not an Ending)

The yoga therapy class is currently paused while I focus on rebuilding more community in the northern suburbs of Cincinnati. The past few years of being more city-central have shifted who I’m regularly reaching, and this is part of re-balancing that.

This isn’t a letting go, it’s a regrouping. This class is near and dear to my heart and will be back as soon as possible.

Again, message me if you would like to be on the interest list!

A New Rhythm in Client Work

After taking two weeks off for the holidays, I returned to a very full client schedule, while still intentionally experimenting with more spaciousness during the week. I’m learning a new business rhythm.

My work has always allowed for flexibility, but I’m discovering an even deeper version of that now. For you, this mostly means:

I’m still aiming for Tuesday sessions for weekly clients.

There may be occasional exceptions as this rhythm settles more fully and people determine their spacing between appointments that works for them.

Thank you for your patience and trust as this takes shape. The steadier and more sustainable the structure is on my end, the more present and grounded I can be with you.

As always, I appreciate you being here—in this counterculture movement of slow growth, real mindfulness, and deep listening. More soon.
